Rowan Atkinson, playing a producer type, struggles with Shakespeare, played by Hugh Laurie, to tighten the script of "Hamlet" ...The sketch comes from an AIDS benefit concert directed by Stephen Fry on September 18, 1989. Richard Curtis wrote the script of the sketch.
